Tropical Rainforest Ecology
J-Term in Costa Rica

  • An immersion into the endangered ecosystem of the Central American rainforest.

  • Tortuguero National Park (by riverboat), and Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Reserve.

  • Activities include hiking, walking, birdwatching, plant and animal identification, and daily lectures.
  • Cost includes three undergraduate credit hours in science; air fare from Buffalo, N.Y. to San Jose, Costa Rica; all room and board (3 meals per day); excursions; guides; medical and trip cancellation insurance.
