All ages are welcome on the Costa Rica trips. Zephyr Smith, here with his catch of the day, came with Mom (Rene Smith, at left) and Dad (Pete Smith, faculty member at Brocton Central School).

Tropical Biology (BIO 410-510)

This is a full semester, three credit course that meets weekly during the regular semester and concludes with a two-week trip to Costa Rica and Panama. This is the most comprehensive of the three courses Dr. Mantai teaches in Costa Rica.  Students conduct a research project and submit a final paper based on their field experiences in the tropics.
